The latest blog post of red and blue describes the various attributes of the cards themselves - threshold - Video Peeling news, instructions, exemplary procedures, reviews and cultu
Brilliant Games and Hex Entertainment are very interested that people are well informed about their upcoming strategic card game. You have previously provided a huge traditional dump, but this week will focus on the details of the cards yourself.
The latest blog post contains a breakdown of the various attributes that are displayed on the cards, and their meaning. There are the usual things that you are likely to familiarize, such as card costs, rarity and name, but there is a part of the cards that turns out to be a bit different, namely "threshold".
Each deck has three elementary slots that you can dedicate one of the four elements of the game - fire, earth, water and air. The 'threshold' of a map determines how many slots you need to assign to a specific item to accommodate it into your deck. For example, if you have a fire card with a threshold of two, you must have two of your elementary places for fire.
This means that your third slot for water elementary cards could be, but you can only add maps of this type that have a threshold of one. The compromise is so if you want to have a variety of items if your deck needs to use cards with a lower threshold. In the meantime, you could only use one item so you can use powerful cards with a threshold of three. However, this probably has its own disadvantages.
Hopefully this will lead to a lot of variety within the people of the deck. In view of the fact that at startup over 750 cards will be distributed to these four elements, there is definitely potential for creativity in their cover construction. Although we know from other digital card games, how fast meta decks will be created.
Red and Blue is expected to be published in the second quarter of 2020 for both iOS and Android. We have neither a more accurate publication date nor the price model, but we will definitely update you if we have more information.
