On August 25, Valve has thrown two action MMORPGs from her platform Steam, of which you have never heard, because they had barely players. Striking is that they used the same assets and have not obsessed their own website.
What were that for games? The two action MMORPGs bear the name God of Flame and Legend MMO. They come from China and look extremely generic at first glance. Both games were Free2Play and in them, everything turned around the Schnet of Monsters from the ISO perspective, who knows for example from Diablo or Wolcen.
Legend MMO appeared in July 2020 on Steam and got a mixed score of 50% in the reviews. God of Flame, on the other hand, appeared in October 2020 and was at least 70% rated positive.
However, what players praised or criticized the players can no longer find out because the Steam pages were deleted to the MMOS.
Why were the games of Steam deleted? An official statement of Valve for deletion does not exist, but there is a suggestion that it could have traded clones of the same game:
- God of Flame was developed by the Beijing Light Wing Century Technology Co., Ltd
- Legend MMO, however, from the Beijing JG Entertainment Technology Co., Ltd
Not only the names of the developers are very similar, but also the assets of the games. The two warriors, which are used in the cover picture for the players, hardly differ:
Ingame can hardly make a difference between the two titles:
Are the two games missing on Steam? Rather not:
- At weddings only 173 players Legend MMO played. In recent weeks, the number of players were even single digits (via SteamDB).
- God of Flame even came to 84 players in Peak and came in August mostly only to one to three players (via steamdb).
More about MMORPGS on MeMMO:
- Bless Unleashed would be a really cool MMORPG if these 2 problems would not have
- ISES 4 new MMORPGs have already been published 2021
- Who asked the GamesCom after the MMORPG Lost Ark, was silenced on Twitch
However, if you are looking for Steam to MMORPGS, you will find many such tracks that are visually very similar, have a few players and mostly put on aggressive monetization. From such games we can only advise you.
