The Independent Pollard Studio LLC developer, which was founded in 2018, with Gamera Games, an independent editor, joined forces to work on a new horror video game based on a story, The Dark World: Karma.
Today, developers have published the game trailer that gives players a glimpse of the scary world, excellent graphics and a narrative story. The release of The Dark World: Karma is scheduled for the second quarter of 2022. Potential fans may wish for the game on Steam here.
The trailer, showing "real-time gameplay sequences", starts with the protagonist waking up in an unknown place, while connected to various machines. The players then have a first glimpse of the protagonist, who looks more like a zombie than a human. The trailer then takes the fans in a journey through different areas as the story continues, concluding on the note that the protagonist has been looking for eight years to find out who is really.
Players venture across the city of Shreded, an forbidden area that has been decimated after Leviathan Corp. Control. As an investigator officer, players are entrusted with the tasks they have to solve at night, leading to a variety of twists. The ultimate mystery of the game remains to be solved because players must discover why they are here and, to do this, they can jump into the minds of others to discover the truth or find the dark side.
The Dark World: Karma will be filled with horrible experiences including monsters, darkness and mystifying sounds. The environment frequently changes, players must be aware of their environment at any time. With the possibility of entering the memories and the spirit of others, solving mysteries and investigating should be fun!
